A lot of people ask me; "Bryan, what are the general steps to buying a home?". Well, now you won't have to ask as I will just lay out for you a general step by step so you can get an idea of the process.
Step 1. Call Bryan Brickman (most important step)
Step 2. Complete pre-qualification process with lender (If you need a lender Bryan will help)
Step 3. Start home search:
- Via Internet (60+ days before closing)
- Visiting Properties (30-60 days before closing)
Step 4. Make an Offer on the Home You Select
Step 4. We Will Negotiate the Contract (Bryan's favorite part)
Step 5. Accept & Execute the Contract (we are now 30 days from closing)
Step 6. Home & Termite Inspections ($400-600)
Step 7. Obtain Home Owners Insurance (again, Bryan knows a lot of people that will help you)
Step 8. Appraisal & Survey (If necessary, set up by the lender and title company)
Step 9. Schedule Your Utilities For Installation (Gas, Electric, Cable, Phone, ECT...)
Step 10. Closing Day - (bring drivers license and cashiers check down payment)
Step 11. Lender Funding & Time to Move In!!!!
